1 november 1956 purulia remain in bengal and larger part about 60% area in bihar. because of rich coal field belt of dhanbad bihari try best to keep dhanbad chas chandankiari in bihar. bengali or west bengal goverment take less interest in manbhum to get it .basicaly manbhum is part of KASHIPUR ESTATE OF PURILIA DISTRICT . manbhum is ruled by kashipur raj. manbhum has its own culture,chow dance,tusu,jawa,jhoomar and inocent people. it is a transition zone between bihar and jharkhand. till 1956 bengali is official language in area of jharkhand part of manbhum. manbhum is always part of bengal. till 1912 it was part of bengal presidency .letterit was part of bihar but official language is bengali till 1956. hindi is a new language in comparison to bengali. its modern form is only 200 years old. hindi comes in manbhum area only 100 years ago. before 50 years no body in manbhum ruler area can speak hindi. bengali is 1500 years old language and bengali has very much impact in rural culture of jharkhandi moolnivashis of santhal pargana,manbhum , and singhbhum. we speak hindi that is called kadi or khari boli of wester uttar pradesh and delhi that area is far distance from manbhum naturaly bengal or bengali culture is more closed to manbhum. many bangla medium schools was in chas chandankiari dhanbad,chandil,ichagarh and nimdhih. the culture of saraikela kharsawan east singhbhum,dhanbad is bengali. arjun munda is from kharsawa and arjun munda is banglabhashi,rupi soren wife of shibu soren is from chandil is banglabhashi, shibu soren also banglabhasi. but jharkhandi leader are greedy of muslim vote and for muslim vote bank politics madhu koda with congress declare urdu as second official language.
present situation-
west bengal area of manbhum purulia district 40% area of manbhum district. purulia survive its manbhum culture. kurmali culture. kurmis mahato are powerful, educated in purulia district.
because of bengali language they are culturaly very advance and live peacefully. purulia is a poor district but have peace.
what happened in jharkhand part of manbhum-
dhanbad,bokaro,chas, about 5000000 bihari migrants comes and setteled here. in dhanbad coalfield the bhojpuri population comes from ara,chapra,balia eastern u.p and bhojpuri area of bihar dominated the area. they have full control, they are coal mafia don and become rich,people say that bhojpuriya bihari comes with a lota and gamcha in jharkhand and become rich. jharkhandi moolnivashi become minority in home. bhojpuri is main language in bokaro and dhanbad . bhojpuri are very powerful in jharkhand,they are very united. bokaro and dhanbad town area have 90% bihari population jharkhandi moolnivashi only 10%. bihari once comes in jharkhand never retured to bihar. one bihari setteled here and help 10 more bihari to setteled in jharkhan.
what mistake in 1956?
if dhanbad chas chandankyari chandil purulia district me chal jate to unka culture bach jata. dhanbad bokaro ko bengal ka part hona chahiye tha. us samay jab voting hua tha tab bhojpuriya migrants setteler ne result ko prabhavit kiya. tatkal bihar se 3 lakh labour ko basaya gaya aur unhe voting karwaya gaya.
aaj jharkhandi moolnivashi ki halat gulamo jaisi. jharkhand become upnivesh for bihar. biharis are the orignal ruler of jharkhand. bihari saan se bhojpuri me bat karte hai aur hum bangla bolne se darte hai. agar pura ka pura manbhum district bengal me chal jata to uska culture bach jata. aaj ka dhanbad chas chandankiari ke logo ne khortha bolne par jyada jor diya hai. wo sochte hai ki khortha bolne se bihari hume marenge nahi. new generation hindi bolti hai.
